Records of the Colorado Silver Bullets Public Relations Department (1993-1998). The collection is comprised of newspaper and magazine clippings (April-June, 1994; entire 1996-1998) as well as detailed statistics for the 1994-1995 seasons. Also included in the collection are Post-Season Colorado Silver Bullets Media Guides for 1996-1997. Highlights of the collection include a day-by-day statistical account of Silver Bullets players for the 1994 and 1995 seasons, detailed statistics for 1996 and 1997. Clippings highlights include accounts on the formation of the Silver Bullets organization, biographical player and coach sketches, newspaper accounts of selected Silver Bullets games, and columnist opinions of the entire venture, both pro and con. Also included in the collection are two promotional color photographs (not originals) of the 1996 Silver Bullets team as well as an "I was there" certificate commemorating the June 14, 1996 Baltimore Orioles at Kansas City Royals major league game in which Baltimore third baseman Cal Ripken played in his 2,216th consecutive game, setting a world record.
